What You'll Experience

Learn the Forms

Classical ikebana techniques passed down through generations. You'll learn how to read a branch, balance asymmetry, and find beauty in restraint.

Create by Hand

Work with seasonal flowers, branches, and foliage to build your own arrangement from start to finish. All materials provided.

Find Stillness

Ikebana is meditation through making. Slow down, listen to the material, and leave with a clarity you didn't expect.

How It Works

01

We Come to You

Private, one-on-one instruction at your home. No studio to drive to, no crowds. Just you, the flowers, and focused guidance. Serving all of San Diego.

02

Materials Provided

Seasonal flowers, branches, foliage, kenzan (pin frog), vessel, and shears. Everything you need arrives with your instructor. Just bring yourself.

03

Learn the Fundamentals

You'll be guided through classical techniques, the philosophy of space and line, and the art of editing. Each lesson builds on the last, or stands beautifully on its own.

04

Take Home Your Work

Every lesson ends with a finished arrangement that's yours to keep. Place it somewhere you'll see it daily. Let it remind you to slow down.
